pleated skirt Lately its been kind of hard to dress for the fall season with summer weather in October ….

But as the chilly weather slowly starts to creep in, sweater lovers like myself begin to rejoice lol . With fall being my favorite fashion season , I could not wait to jump into some of my cozy knits. Particularly my Gucci Intarsia wool sweater. I prefer my knits to be a bit oversized, this makes them perfect for layering. (Hence why I decided to go with the mens version of this sweater lol)

Novelty sweaters are definitely on trend this season, along with pleated skirts (which I love by the way lol). When I say novelty I am referring to anything embellished or embroidered. Midi skirts and knit sweaters go hand in hand. It is the prefect way to pull off a casual dressy look, whether you decide to wear a cute mule or a pair of slip on sneakers. That mix of casual but evening is the ultimate play on contrast.
