So I’ve made it! First week of the New year down, 51 more to go lol. I had the pleasure of sitting back and reflecting on my year of 2016 at the chicest hotel in Brooklyn.
Being a brooklynite I was uber excited to kick back and get prepared for my New Years Eve festivities at the hotel. It’s no secret that Brooklyn is becoming vastly gentrified , but not all bad. The Dazzler in my opinion is a great luxury addition to the Downtown Brooklyn area.
As I walked through the lobby for check in, I could not help but to feel right at home. I mean the plush decor had me ready to run to home goods and redecorate my place when I got home. If you’re a person who’s into decor, be prepared to be visually satisfied upon arrival.
I checked in and was escorted to the elevator up to my room. Then suddenly my afternoon gets better. I was greeted with a hand written note accompanied by a complimentary bottle of champagne welcoming me to the hotel. Now I don’t know if they were looking for residents, but with this kind of treatment I was just about ready to sign a lease. I unpacked, got cozy in my FeNoel and headed to the living room area to sip some peppermint tea. Oh I didn’t tell you there was a Keurig machine with an assortment of tea a coffee aside from the fully stocked mini bar? How forgetful of me lol.
As the day turned into night, its was almost party time. The party was held in the ballroom area of the hotel. I arrived downstairs and was escorted through the huge double doors. I walked into the event space filled with balloons that covered the floor. The partygoers and myself enjoyed the good vibes and danced all night. Ringing in the new year in good spirits.
The staff was extremely pleasant , which made my overall stay so much more comfortable. I mean I really did not want to check out. Waking up the next morning wanting to do it all over again. Don’t just take my word for it. The Dazzler Brooklyn is a true gem here in the borough.
