With winter taking its time to visit New York City, I am enjoying every bit of this fall like weather in December. Though I must admit I am not a major fan of freezing temperatures. So for now I can substitute my over sized coats and scarfs for chic leather jackets and midi skirts. With being lucky enough to catch a 60 degree day, what better way to enjoy it than taking a soho stroll?…. I know what your thinking… a stroll in 5 inch heels? Well contrary to popular belief , platform and chunky heels are always my go to when wanting to be comfortable . So my PRADA burnished boots were perfect for today. Paired with my Zara accordion skirt and Iron Maiden t-shirt , I had just the right amount of rock star for the day.
Of course I chose none other than my Parker oxblood leather jacket to top off my rock star t-shirt. It’s just something about the oxblood color for me that screams fall, though we are technically in the winter season mother nature seems to feel otherwise. But again, no complaints here. So I decided to add some company to my Hermes Kelly bag, my Fendi Karlito to add a cute and playful touch to a classic bag. Bag charms have been quite an accessory necessity this season. Not only are they fun and adorable, they’re quite the conversation starter. I can not count how many times I have been stopped in the street and asked “Hey whats that thing hanging from your bag?”
Ok… so my inner kid would not allow me to pass these by… You never know what to expect while strolling the streets of Soho New York. Street vendors offer an array of things from hats, hand made accessories, and of course bubbles!
