With the Coachella music festival coming to a close the last weekend of April , unfortunately I was not able to attend. None the less that didn’t stop me from living vicariously through my social media outlets and feeling the Coachella spirit…
I know what your thinking…. Coachella spirit in NYC? Yes. Trading in the open fields and stages for city streets. With the erratic weather here in NYC, any 76 degree day should be taken advantage of. What better way to do so than channeling my inner boho-chic , not to mention secretly wishing I was front and center enjoying the actual festivities in sunny California.
The ultimate California dream printed Saint Laurent satin bomber mentally put me on a Beverly Hills street playing “Art of Noise – Moments in love” with my aviator shades on cruising the city. Which was quickly interrupted by the yellow taxi honking his horn at me to move out of the street, but a girl can dream can’t she? In my “Relaxed in Lingerie” post I spoke briefly about how the satin bombers have made quite a come back this season, and I don’t think they’re going anywhere for a while.
In absence of the California weather I kept cozy but still edgy in my RtA beal sweatshirt. I absolutely love this sweatshirt, the comfortable oversized fit with frays and its unique distressed detailing throughout. Paired with my TopShop light wash denim moto shorts. To add a little fringe cowgirl realness, my Alexandre Birman katy boots came to the rescue.
